This page will guide you through the basic steps you should follow in order to obtain the latest OSX versions of DUY's TDM plug-ins, compatible with Mix, HD and already HD Accel systems.
Upgrade policy and pricing
- Users who currently have an OSX-compatible version of our software (on iLok), (version 3.0 of Global Bundle, Analog Bundle, DSPider or ReDSPider, or version 2.0 of SynthSpider) are entitled to obtain a free update to the new version via an online download.
- Users who registered an upgrade to HD after 10 September 2002 are also entitled to obtain a free upgrade, in the same conditions as explained in the point above.
- Users who registered any DUY TDM product compatible with ProTools HD on or before 10 September 2002 can obtain a reduced-price upgrade. The prices for these users are: 125 EUR to upgrade DSPider, ReDSPider or SynthSpider, 175 EUR to upgrade Global Bundle and 150 EUR to upgrade Analog Bundle.
- Users who registered any upgrade to HD on or before 10 September 2002 can also obtain a reduced-price upgrade. These upgrade prices are the same as listed above.

Availability and Features of the new versions
Excellent optimizations have been included in the new versions of the software, which are already ProTools|HD Accel-compatible. Registered users
will be able to download the update on 22 September 2003. Demo versions are now available in the "Download" section of our website.
Apart from including compatibility with the new hardware, excellent optimizations have been achieved
with this new software revision, which sets all plug-ins to version 3.1 (except SynthSpider, to 2.1). You can expect to
see many more instances per chip of your DUY plug-ins, and the support of 192K for DSPider and ReDSPider, which was not
previously available: DUY's DSPider and ReDSPider plug-ins can now be used at 192 KHz on Digidesign’s new HD|Accel cards. Users of previous HD hardware
versions can continue to use the software at sample rates up to 96 KHz. We have also carried out a complete revision of the code of DUY DaD
Valve and DUY DaD Tape, included in DUY's Global Bundle and Analog Bundle. This has allowed us to achieve a greater number of instances
on HD|Accel systems, while leaving the original algorithm untouched, preserving the addition of warmth to the sound that DUY is so well-known for.
Many Mix and HD users will also take advantage of this new optimization. DUY's Shape TDM plug-in, included in Global Bundle, can now be used by
any ProTools|HD user at 192 KHz in stereo, and the number of instances for Accel users is greatly improved at all sample rates. The improvement
is also considerable for users of older HD hardware.
Taking advantage of the new hardware processing capabilities of Digidesign's ProTools|HD Accel cards,
DUY SynthSpider users will now count with an extra version of SynthSpider: DUY PolySpider. This version, also free for
registered users, is a 6-voice polyphonic version of SynthSpider, allowing users to have six voices with just one instance instead of having to
create separate instances for each voice. This version of SynthSpider can be used at 44.1 KHz and 48 KHz. PolySpider is free for registered users
and is included in the package for new customers. DUY PolySpider can be inserted when Digidesign HD|Accel hardware is present.

Upgrade Pricing for users who don't have an HD-compatible version
For users who still don't have HD compatibility, the prices to upgrade are listed below. If you registered an HD-compatible version before 10 September 2002, the upgrade prices are 125 EUR for SynthSpider, ReDSPider or DSPider, 175 EUR for Global Bundle and 150 EUR for Analog Bundle. Remember you may be elegible for a free upgrade depending on the date of registration of your product.
IMPORTANT!: This new pricing includes ProTools|HD Accel compatibility.
