DUY's Magic Spectrum and MagicEQ plug-ins for RTAS, are now also available for Windows XP users!! The new DUY EverPack RTAS 3.0 for Windows XP has also been released today. It features internal 64-bit processing. All these plug-ins support the latest Pro Tools LE versions and iLok authorization.
Users of older versions of EverPack for Windows are entitled to a free upgrade if they purchased the software on or after March 2006. Users of the Mac version of EverPack 2.5 or 3.0 can also use the Windows version at no charge. Attention to all EverPack Users! DUY's New EverPack on iLok

DUY releases EverPack 2.5, for RTAS, Audio Units, MAS and VST. Unlike the previous versions of EverPack, which were only for one platform, the new DUY EverPack includes all 4 installers for RTAS, AU, MAS and VST for Mac, becoming a multi-host package. This new version of EverPack is authorizable on an iLok key or onto the hard drive.
Registered users can apply for the upgrade at the following prices:
- Users of EverPack OSX for RTAS, AU, MAS or VST (a combination of 3 of these platforms or the 4): free upgrade.
- Users of EverPack OSX for RTAS, AU, MAS or VST (one or two of these platforms): 75 EUR.
- Users of EverPack OS9 (one platform or multiple platforms) can upgrade to the new multi-host version of EverPack for 125 EUR.
- Users of DUY's older "All DUY Tools" for one platform or multiple platforms can also take advantage of the upgrade path at 175 EUR.
Must all users upgrade to the latest version of EverPack? If you want to continue using your current version, there is no obligation to upgrade. But if you would like to take advantage of having the additional platforms or would like to authorize your software on an iLok key, you should upgrade now.

DUY updates available for PCIe

Users of Digidesign's new "PCIe" cards (PCI express) may need to install the latest version of their DUY software.
The latest updates, available from midnight tonight, are: Global Bundle, Analog Bundle, DSPider and ReDSPider 3.2.1. SynthSpider stands now at version 2.2.1.
Users of MagicEQ, Wide, Shape, Max, Valve or Tape TDM as individual plug-ins should continue using the same versions of the software.
Registered users will be notified by email of the link to download the latest version of the software throughout today.

DUY is compatible with ProTools 7

DUY's plug-ins are compatible with ProTools 7. TDM versions equal or higher to version 3.2 (2.2 for SynthSpider) are compatible. RTAS versions equal or higher than 2.1 are also compatible.
If you currently have version 3.2 of a TDM product, there is no need for you to upgrade to 3.3, which is a version only reserved for users of individual TDM products (not bundles).

Logic 7 compatibility and MAS update

DUY releases TDM & RTAS plug-ins for Windows XP

DUY announces the availability of Windows XP-compatible versions of the entire collection of RTAS and TDM plug-ins, as well as lower prices for all these products.
The new XP versions can be purchased from www.duystore.com as an online download. Boxes will be shipping and available from authorized Digidesign dealers in mid-May.
Demo versions of the TDM plug-ins for Windows XP will be available soon.

TDM and RTAS updates for OSX released

New versions of all DUY TDM & RTAS products for OSX have been released. It is recommended that these versions are installed if you're using the very latest version of ProTools (6.2.3) with Mac OSX 10.3.2.
TDM versions are now 3.2 for Global Bundle, Analog Bundle, DSPider and ReDSPider. SynthSpider is now at version 2.2.
The latest EverPack RTAS version is 2.1.

The HD|Accel-compatible versions of DUY's TDM plug-ins are now shipping. The latest versions are 3.1.1 for all TDM products (except SynthSpider, 2.1.1). Our registered users can download the versions from the same links that were provided when version 3.1 was released.

DUY presents ProTools|HD Accel compatibility at IBC

DUY has presented the ProTools|HD Accel-compatible versions of the complete range of TDM plug-ins
at the IBC show in Amsterdam. Showing at Avid & Digidesign's stand, the new versions of DUY plug-ins for HD|Accel show
an amazing improvement in the optimization of DSP resources, taking advantage of the new hardware, but also making some
standard HD versions of the software see greater number of instances per chip and even allowing greater sampling rates
on some plug-ins that were not yet 192K-enabled.
Free update & availability: Users who have version 3.0 of the plug-ins (2.0 for SynthSpider), running on iLok, are entitled to a
free update. Users who purchased an upgrade or a new product before 10 September 2002 are also entitled to receive a free update. All updates and upgrades will be downloadable from our website on September 22nd. Demo versions will be available
on 3rd October.
ProTools HD|Accel compatibility, optimizations and improvements: Apart from including compatibility with the new hardware, excellent optimizations have been achieved
with this new software revision, which sets all plug-ins to version 3.1 (except SynthSpider, to 2.1). You can expect to
see many more instances per chip of your DUY plug-ins, and the support of 192K for DSPider and ReDSPider, which was not
previously available: DUY’s DSPider and ReDSPider plug-ins can now be used at 192 KHz on Digidesign’s new HD|Accel cards. Users of previous HD hardware
versions can continue to use the software at sample rates up to 96 KHz. We have also carried out a complete revision of the code of DUY DaD
Valve and DUY DaD Tape, included in DUY’s Global Bundle and Analog Bundle. This has allowed us to achieve a greater number of instances
on HD|Accel systems, while leaving the original algorithm untouched, preserving the addition of warmth to the sound that DUY is so well-known for.
Many Mix and HD users will also take advantage of this new optimization. DUY’s Shape TDM plug-in, included in Global Bundle, can now be used by
any ProTools|HD user at 192 KHz in stereo, and the number of instances for Accel users is greatly improved at all sample rates. The improvement
is also considerable for users of older HD hardware.
Taking advantage of the new hardware processing capabilities of Digidesign's ProTools|HD Accel cards,
DUY SynthSpider users will now count with an extra version of SynthSpider: DUY PolySpider. This version, also free for
registered users, is a 6-voice polyphonic version of SynthSpider, allowing users to have six voices with just one instance instead of having to
create separate instances for each voice. This version of SynthSpider can be used at 44.1 KHz and 48 KHz. PolySpider is free for registered users
and is included in the package for new customers. DUY PolySpider can be inserted when Digidesign HD|Accel hardware is present.

DUY in Spanish

DUY announces the launch of
www.duy.es, an extended version of www.duy.com
for Spanish-speaking users. The new website in Spanish will also
include full information and dates of DUY's "OSX Tour", to commence
in 2003 in Spanish-language territories, and continuing to promote
DUY's plug-ins for OSX on Pro Tools 6 in other countries later on
in the year, including the release of a new plug-in for TDM.
The launch of the new website in Spanish, www.duy.es
also sets the start of a series of new developments on DUY's
group of websites, that will include two major updates in January
and February 2003, with the creation of a special section for users
to exchange settings and presets for their plug-ins, a user forum
and a faster system to obtain and download updates online, as well
as a new Registration zone to give authorizations online in real-time.

This update solves a bug that doesn't allow inserting DUY Wide TDM in a 192 KHz session.
Users of the RTAS versions of EverPack can also use the software on ProTools|HD-prepared software. The update can be requested by email.

DUY has appointed Digidesign as worldwide exclusive distributor
for all the TDM and RTAS versions of DUY's professional
line of audio software plug-ins. Digidesign will be launching DUY SynthSpider for TDM. The other products distributed by Digidesign will be DUY Global Bundle, DUY Analog Bundle, DUY ReDSPider, DUY DSPider and EverPack for RTAS and Audiosuite.
The VST, MAS and Premiere versions of DUY's software will continue to be distributed by DUY or by appointed intermediate distributors.
