One of England's most highly respected producers is Chris Porter, a longtime user of DUY plug-ins. His recordings have had enormous international success, commercially and critically, having achieved innumerable sales awards and prestigious Grammy nominations, the most recent in 1998.

Chris Porter's impressive list of credits includes Simple Minds, David Bowie, Diana Ross, Boyzone, Take That, Gary Barlow, Elton John, Pet Shop Boys and Tina Turner, and he's recorded most of George Michael's biggest hits, such as "Careless Whisper" or "Freedom".

"I have been using DUY plug-ins now for nearly four years", says Porter. He has been using them extensively on many of his recent recordings: "From the first day they got popped into my DAE folder they have been 'hammered'."

Chris Porter finds it hard to choose his favourite DUY plug-in: "If I have to choose a favorite it is probably DUY DaD Valve, which faultlessly mimics the warmth and roundness of glowing tubes, yet of course no added noise."

Gary Barlow was introduced to DUY Shape by Chris. "Yes: DUY Shape is probably my second favourite, because its innovative graphic allows really accurate E.Q. of audio, and even extreme settings are possible without the usual harshness so often found in digital plug-ins."
